Connecting with Care – Switzerland (Winner of the 1st prize in Category 1)

The Arud-film won first prize at the Lisbon Addiction Conference.

Switzerland has one of the most liberal drug policies and harm reduction programmes, including heroin-assisted treatment. This film takes a look behind the scenes of Arud and its successful harm reduction services.

It documents the successes, but also highlights the challenges that still need to be overcome. These include the urgent need to engage more people in hepatitis C testing and treatment services.
