Research for the practice

Rational, scientifically based addiction medicine - that's what we stand for! Thanks to our research projects and publications, our services are continuously evaluated, developed and expanded. And always with the aim of improving the physical, mental and social health as well as the general quality of life of people with addiction problems.

Arud's research work is independent, practice-oriented and interdisciplinary. The main focus is on harm reduction in the use of legal and illegal substances as well as on internal, infectious (hepatitis, HIV) and psychiatric issues. In addition to our own projects, we participate in national and international collaborative projects.
